Hearing Aid Batteries

Duracell No. PC9100 Alkaline Pro Hearing Aid Battery

The Duracell No. PC9100 "ProCell" 1.5 volt alkaline hearing aid battery was made in Belgium and distributed by Duracell Inc. of Bethel, CT.

The No. PC9100 alkaline battery weighed 0.3 oz. (8 g) and measured 1⅛" by 7/16" in diameter (2.9 x 1.1 cm).

Alkaline batteries were used in the 1980s, but became much more popular as mercury batteries were phased out of use. Since 1996 when mercury batteries were banned in the USA, alkaline batteries took their place.
