Hearing Aid Batteries

Duracell TR132H Mercury Hearing Aid Battery

This Mallory/Duracell TR132H 2.8 volt mercury hearing aid battery was manufactured by the Mallory Battery Company. of Tarrytown, NY around 1967.

This battery weighed 0.8 oz. (24 g), and measured 1 5/16" by ⅝" in diameter (3.3 x 1.6 cm).

In 1964 the P. R. Mallory Company, makers of Mallory batteries, trademarked the name "Duracell", which stood for "durable cell" battery.

Between 1964 and 1980 Mallory batteries carried the double Duracell and Mallory brand names. This red Mallory/Duracell battery was made within that time period.

Note: the positive terminal of the battery is at the bottom (right side).
