Hearing Aid Batteries

Eveready 703 Hearing Aid "A" Battery

The Eveready 703 battery was technically a flashlight battery. However, it also could be used in certain vacuum tube hearing aids such as some Amplivox models that required a 4˝ volt "A" battery.

The battery measured 2˝" high by 2˝" wide by 13/16" thick. It weighed 4 oz.

This battery was used in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
