Lorgnette-style British-made Personal Amplifier

This assistive listening device has no name or manufacturer's mark, but it appears to be British-made. It was likely produced sometime in the 1960s.

The "Lorgnette" microphone. The coiled cord allowed the person to hold the microphone up to the speaker's mouth for best results.

The back of the ear piece had a raised circle which may, at one time, have had the manufacturer's decal on it. Otherwise, there are absolutely no identifying marks on this unit.
