Williams Sound PPA R7 Single-Channel FM Receiver

The Williams Sound PPA R7 single-channel FM receiver was produced by the Williams Sound Corporation of Eden Prairie, MN around 1985.

It was a small battery-operated transistorized portable FM receiver.

The PPA R7 measured 3 9/16" x 2⅜" x 15/16" (9.1 x 6.1 x 2.4 cm) and weighed 2.4 oz (68 g) without the battery.

PPA stands for Personal Public Address. The PPA receivers were used with a higher-powered FM transmitter for use in churches and meetings.

This FM system had a range of several hundred feet and operated in the 72 - 76 mHz band.
