Hearing Aid Batteries

Ardente No. 44 Hearing Aid Battery

The Ardente No. 44 was a 3-volt hearing aid battery used in carbon hearing aids in the 1930s.

The Ardente Model 44 carbon-zinc battery weighed 3¾ oz, and measured 2⅝" high by 1 11/16" wide by 13/16" thick.

The label says it was "specially made for use with Mr. R. H. Dent's Ardente for Deaf Ears" hearing aids.
