Hearing Aid Batteries

Burgess No. 4F Radio "A" Battery

The Burgess No. 4FR  was a 1˝ volt  battery manufactured by the Burgess Battery Company of Freeport, IL.

It was used in some hearing aid test equipment in the 1940s.

It weighed 1 lb 2.8 oz. (534 g), and measured 2 9/16" by 2 9/16" by 4" high (6.5 x 6.5 x 10.3 cm).
