Hearing Aid Batteries

Burgess TE Hearing Aid "A" Battery

This is an Burgess TE 1˝ volt hearing aid "A" battery used mainly in the vacuum tube hearing aids in the 1940s.

It weighed 3˝ oz., and measured 4" in height by 1 1/8" in diameter.

This battery was manufactured by the Burgess Battery Co. of Freeport, Illinois.
