Hearing Aid Batteries

Eveready E340E Hearing Aid Battery

This is an Eveready E340E 1½ volt carbon-zinc battery for body worn transistor hearing aids of the 1950s and early 1960s.

It is equivalent to our "N" size battery today. It weighs about ¼ oz., and is
1 3/16" by 9/16" in diameter.
