Mallory TR-136R Mercury Hearing Aid Battery
The Mallory Duracell TR-136R 8.1 volt mercury battery was used in an
auditory trainer somewhere around 1970. It weighed 2.8 oz., and
measured
3 15/16" high by
⅝" in diameter. Mercury batteries are no longer sold today
because of the large quantities of mercury in them and the consequent
environmental concerns. |
