Hearing Aid Batteries

War Hearing Aid "B" Battery (large)

This 33 volt "B" battery was produced during the Second World War (1939-1945) for use in hearing aids.

This battery measured 3" by 2" by 1 3/8". It weighed 6˝ oz.

The reverse side of this battery states, "This battery is produced in accordance with War Production Board orders and is designed to be suitable for use with any make of hearing aid device which requires for its operation a battery of this voltage and which is equipped with suitable connectors."
