No. 1 Mercury Hearing Aid "A" Battery
The No. 1 1.4 volt mercury hearing aid "A" battery was made
by an unnamed manufacturer. It was used in vacuum
tube hearing aids in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The No. battery
was the same size as the
RM-1 battery manufactured by Mallory.
The No. 1 mercury battery had a capacity of 1000 mAh and weighed 0.3
oz. (9 g) and measured 0.650" high
by 0.625" in diameter (1.7 x 1.6 cm). |
