Hearing Aid Battery Testers

Radioear Model P-1728 Transistor Hearing Aid Battery Tester

The Radioear Model P-1728 transistor hearing aid battery tester was manufactured by E. A. Myers & Sons of Pittsburgh, PA and sold through Radioear Corporation also of Pittsburgh, PA in 1955 or a year or so previously.

It was designed to test the mercury batteries used in transistor hearing aids at that time.

The Radioear Model P-1728 transistor hearing aid battery tester measured 2 1/16" in diameter x ⅞" thick (5.2 x 2.2 cm) and weighed 2.6 oz. (76 g).
