Rayovac Model HT5 Hearing Aid Battery Tester
The Rayovac Model HT5 hearing aid battery tester was distributed by
the
Rayovac Corporation of Madison, WI around 1977.
It was designed to test zinc-air, mercury and silver button batteries
in common use at that time.
The Rayovac Model HT5 battery tester measured 4 7/16" x 2⅜" x 1 3/16"
(11.3 x 6.0 x 3.1 cm) and weighed 2.1 oz. (60 g).

The meter was easy to read. If the needle remained in the red, the
battery needed to be replaced. If it was in the green, the battery was
still good.
