Copper Hard Rubber Conversation Tube
This conversation tube has a metal bell of anodized copper and an ear
piece of hard rubber. The spiral tube, which is narrower than most of
the conversation tubes at only 0.5 inches in diameter, is 40 inches
long.
It is covered with a very finely woven cloth material. It was
probably multi-colored when new, but has since faded to a dull grey and
black. The bell opening is 1.75 inches.
This conversation tube dates from somewhere around 1900.
