F. C. Rein Collapsible Metal Ear Trumpet (Ear Horn)
This Collapsible Metal Ear Trumpet, which is signed F. C. Rein,
Inventor, 108 Strand, London would appear to have been made between 1855
when Rein moved to 108 Strand and 1866 when the company name was changed
to F. C. Rein and Son.
As the largest trumpet in the collection, it provides a
significant amount of gain to the user and was probably custom made for
a person with a significant hearing loss. |
