Kirchner & Wilhelm Collapsible Metal Ear Trumpet (Ear Horn)
This two-section collapsible Metal "Pipe" Trumpet is typical of those
manufactured from about 1890 through to about 1920. This ear trumpet
probably dates from somewhere around 1900 - 1910.
The manufacturer's mark on it shows it was manufactured by Kirchner &
Wilhelm of Stuttgart, Germany.
The bell opening is 3.5". Fully extended it measures 15".

Another metal (japanned brass) ear trumpet showing the manufacturer's
mark about ˝" from the ear tip. It is a circle containing a
stylized "K" and "W" with a capital "S"
below it standing for "Kirchner" and "Wilhelm" and "Stuttgart".

the above one. The above mark is the only identifying mark on it.
