Ear Trumpets (Ear Horns)

Single-section Parabolic Reflecting Ear Trumpet (Ear Horn)

In contrast to the two-section collapsing parabolic reflecting ear trumpets, this ear trumpet is shorter, and only has one,non-collapsing section.

This ear trumpet has no manufacturer's name or markings on it whatsoever. It probably dates from somewhere around 1900.

The parabolic reflector is brass, painted black, and measures 4" in diameter. Total length is 10⅛". It weighs just 3 oz.

Incidentally, this ear trumpet gives very nice sound if the person speaking is within 2 feet or so.
