Acousticon Model A-235 Eyeglass Hearing Aid The Acousticon Model A-235 eyeglass hearing aid was manufactured by Dictograph Products, Inc. of New York in October, 1956. This was Acousticon's first eyeglass hearing aid with all the electronics in one temple-piece. What is cool about this pair of glasses is that not only are they very early eyeglass hearing aids, but that there are two separate hearing aids, one in each temple piece. This was unusual back in the mid 1950s where it was considered only necessary to wear a hearing aid is one ear. | | Click picture for larger view | | | | |
