Dahlberg Model D-11 "Optic-Ear" (Mod) Transistor Eyeglass Hearing Aid
The Dahlberg Model D-11 "Optic-Ear" eyeglass hearing aid was manufactured by
Dahlberg Electronics, Inc. of Minneapolis, MN. starting in February,
1956.
All the electronics were housed in one temple piece— in this case,
the right temple piece. This hearing aid had 4 transistors.

If you couldn't see the thick side temple pieces, this hearing aid
looked just like regular eyeglasses.

Seen from the back, the Dahlberg Model D-11 "Optic-Ear" eyeglass hearing
aid had a large temple piece to house all the electronics.
The right temple piece housed the electronics. The left temple piece
was a dummy to match the shape of the right temple piece.
