Hearing Aid Batteries

Duracell No. MN21 Alkaline Battery

The Duracell No. MN21 12 volt alkaline battery was manufactured for Duracell Inc. of Bethel, CT. probably around 2000.

The No. MN21 alkaline battery weighed 0.1 oz. (4 g) and measured 1⅛" by ⅜" in diameter (2.8 x 1.0 cm).

Note: this battery looks similar to the Type "N" 1.4/1.5 volt batteries used in some older body-style hearing aids. Although it is 1 mm smaller in diameter and 1 mm shorter, it will fit in Type "N" battery compartments. However, this battery is 12 volts (not 1.5 volts) and will likely fry any hearing aid designed for 1.5 volts.
