Hearing Aid Batteries

Duracell No. MP401H Mercury Hearing Aid Battery

The Duracell No. MP401H 1.4 volt mercury hearing aid battery was manufactured for Duracell Inc. of Bethel, CT.

The No. MP401H mercury battery weighed 0.3 oz. (8 g) and measured 1⅛" by 7/16" in diameter (2.9 x 1.1 cm).

Mercury batteries were finally phased out of use in the USA in 1996 and were replaced by alkaline batteries which had been available for some years at that point.
