Hearing Aid Batteries

John Bell & Croyden Type RA-HT Hearing Aid "B"  Battery

The John Bell & Croyden Type RA-HT  battery was a 32-volt hearing aid "B" battery used in certain vacuum tube hearing aids in the 1930s. The actual manufacturer is unknown.

This battery weighed 13 oz, and measured 4⅛" long by 1¾" wide by 2⅛" high.

The label on the side of the John Bell & Croyden Type RA-HT  battery reads "John Bell & Croyden/Wigmore Street, London, W.1." then "The Complete Hearing Service" and "When Re-ordering please quote Type No. Ra-HT."

This battery was used in the John Bell  & Croyden vacuum tube hearing aid.
