Hearing Aid Batteries

No. 630 Mercury Hearing Aid Battery

The No. 630 1.4 volt mercury hearing aid battery was made by an unnamed manufacturer. It was used in behind-the-ear and eyeglass hearing aids in the mid 1950s.

The No. 630 mercury battery had a capacity of 350 mAh and weighed 0.17 oz. (3 g) and measured 0.238" high by 0.615" in diameter (0.55 x 1.5 cm).
