Hearing Aid Batteries

Zenith Z-12-G Hearing Aid "B" Battery

This Zenith 22˝ volt hearing aid "B" battery was used in Zenith (and other) vacuum tube hearing aids from about 1948 to 1952.

It weighed 1˝ oz., and measured 2⅛" in height, 1 in width and ⅝" thick.

This battery was sometimes paired with an RM-3 1.4 volt mercury "A" battery in vacuum tube hearing aids.

It was also paired with the Zenith Z 1˝ volt "A" battery in the Zenith Regent vacuum tube hearing aid of 1952.
