Hearing Aid Batteries

This is a Zenith 45 volt hearing aid "B" battery used in Zenith vacuum tube hearing aids in the 1940s.

It weighed 11 oz., and measured 4⅛" in height, 2⅛ in width and 1" thick.

This battery was paired with a Zenith 1½ volt "A" battery in 2-piece vacuum tube hearing aids.
