Hearing Aid Battery Testers

Eveready Counter-Top Battery Tester

This Eveready counter-top battery tester was used in the mid to late 1940s by hearing aid sales and repair establishments to test A and B batteries for customers.

The batteries were tested by pushing the battery down on the A and B battery plugs on the top of the unit.

Internal type A and B batteries could also be tested using the supplied cord with a probe that could be touched on one battery terminal while the other terminal was touched on the contact on the top of the unit.
