Hearing Aid Battery Testers

Aurex Dual-Range Battery Tester

This dual-scale Aurex battery tester was designed to test both the A and B batteries in vacuum tube (2-piece) hearing aids made somewhere around 1942.

The 3-pin plug (left) fitted "B" batteries such as the Zenith Z-30 45 volt "B" battery for example, while the 2-pin plug (right) fitted "A" batteries such as the Sonotone X800 1˝ volt "A" battery. Thus the correct scale was automatically selected.
