Hearing Testing Equipment

Unex Device for Adjusting Frequency Response on Unex Model AT (Adjustone) Hearing Aid

The Unex device was made by Unex Laboratories, Inc., a division of Nichols & Clark of Hathorne, MA. in 1965. It measured 5¼" x 2" x ⅞".

This device was used for ease in determining the correct frequency response tone plug to insert in the 1965 Unex Model AT (Adjustone) BTE hearing aid.

The upper knob determined the desired value of the high-frequency cutoff, while the lower knob determined the desired value of the bass cutoff.
