Short Metal Ear Trumpet (Ear Horn)
Similar to the previous example, this trumpet is made of
nickel-plated brass. The parabolic shape reflects the sound into the
ear tube. This ear trumpet measures 3¼" across the bell. The dome itself is
3½"
high, while the height to the top of the ear piece is 5½". It has an ivory ear tip dating
it to somewhere around 1890. The manufacturer is unknown.
