Body Type Transistor Hearing Aids

Dahlberg D-5 "Blue Cross" (BC5) Hearing Aid

The Dahlberg D-5 "Blue Cross" (also known as the Model BC5) transistor hearing aid was produced by Dahlberg Electronics, Inc. of Minneapolis in 1953. It used three CK718 transistors.

The D-5 "Blue Cross" was enclosed in a chrome case measuring 2½" x 1¾" by ⅞". It weighed 6½ oz. with its RM-1 mercury battery.
