Body Type Transistor Hearing Aids

Dahlberg D-6 "Standard" Hearing Aid

The Dahlberg D-6 "Standard" all transistor hearing aid was produced by Dahlberg Electronics, Inc. of Minneapolis in 1953. It was enclosed in a gold anodized case measuring 2½" x 1¾" x ⅞". This hearing aid weighed just 4 oz. with its RM-1 mercury battery.

This D-6 "Standard" hearing aid used 2 Raytheon 784s and one Raytheon 785 transistors.
